What's in it
Glycerin
One of the oldest, gentlest ingredients in skincare.
What it is
Glycerin is a clear, syrupy substance that has been used in skincare for generations. It can be derived from plant oils or made synthetically, and it's one of the most widely used ingredients in personal care.
Why I'm comfortable using it
Glycerin is about as well-established as a skincare ingredient gets. In twenty years of looking at ingredient lists, it's one I've always been glad to see. It's gentle, familiar, and suits even the most particular skin, including my own.
